Questions you may have
How is InsightSite different from WordPress?
InsightSite is built on Nuxt 4 (Vue) and can render pages on Cloudflare's edge. The admin, languages, SEO and scheduling are part of the framework rather than third-party plugins, and WordPress sites can be migrated by importing a WXR export.
Do I need a server?
No. On Cloudflare Pages the database is D1 and files live in R2, so there is no server to maintain. You can also deploy to Baota, Docker, Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud or serverless platforms.
Which databases are supported?
Cloudflare D1 / SQLite, PostgreSQL and MySQL, sharing one query code path with migrations kept in sync.
How far does multilingual support go?
Chinese and English work out of the box, content is stored per language, and hreflang plus per-language sitemaps are generated. Add more languages in the config; a live site already serves Finnish.
Will upgrades break my customized pages?
Each site extends the framework as a Nuxt layer and overrides only the files it customizes. Upgrading is a version bump, and the bundled nuxtcms doctor command lists new features your overridden files are missing.
How does pricing work?
Community is free; Pro is $100 / year (under $8.40 a month) with every paid official plugin, premium templates and support; the business package starts at $500 one-time and we rebuild, migrate and launch your website. See the pricing page.
How do InsightSite and nuxtcms relate?
InsightSite is the product name; the framework package underneath is called nuxtcms, so commands and config still say nuxtcms (for example nuxtcms doctor).
