From zero to Cloudflare in three commands

This guide shows how three commands give you a live website with an admin, Chinese and English content and a complete SEO setup, running on Cloudflare Pages with D1 as the database and R2 for files.

1. Generate the site

npx -y https://insightme.top/create-nuxtcms.tgz my-site

Pick a template when asked (company, blog, docs and more) or pass one directly, for example --template blog. The project comes with dependencies, config, styles, languages and local secrets ready.

2. Refine it locally

cd my-site && pnpm i && pnpm dev

Open http://localhost:3000/zh/setup to create the admin account and, if you like, import demo content. Then write posts, build pages and install plugins while previewing the site.

3. Deploy

pnpm deploy:init && pnpm deploy:migrate

The script creates a D1 database, an R2 bucket and a Pages project in your Cloudflare account, writes the settings back into the project, migrates the database, builds and publishes. You get a *.pages.dev address; add your own domain in the Cloudflare dashboard.

Not on Cloudflare?

The same code runs on Baota / Nginx, Docker, Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, Vercel, Netlify and more, with SQLite, PostgreSQL or MySQL. See the deployment docs.
