Plugins

Using the plugin hub

This website (insightme.top) is the official InsightSite plugin hub. Here is the whole flow for site owners and for hub administrators.

Site owners: from sign-up to a running plugin

  1. Sign up on the registration page.
  2. Create an API token under My account → API tokens. It is shown once, so copy it right away.
  3. Bind your site: in your InsightSite admin open Plugins → Account & licenses, paste the token and bind. Credits and licenses then show up in your admin.
  4. Install plugins from Plugins → Marketplace. Free plugins work immediately; paid plugins run once licensed.
  5. Get a license, any of:
    • click "Buy for N credits" in your admin, or sign in here and buy on the plugin page; the license is bound to your domain;
    • click "Request a license" for several sites, a trial or a quote; an administrator issues a key;
    • enter a key you received in the plugin's settings.
  6. Top up credits: no online payment yet. Contact us; credits appear in your ledger as soon as they are added.

Licenses are bound to a domain (www and the apex both work) and re-checked daily. If the hub is briefly unreachable the last result is kept, so your site keeps working.

Administrators: Admin → Plugin hub

Sign in to /us/admin with a CMS admin account and open Plugin hub:

TabPurpose
Overviewaccounts, credits outstanding, active licenses, open requests
Accountssearch, adjust credits (positive tops up, negative deducts, always ledgered), disable / enable
Licensessearch, issue by hand (wildcards like *.example.com, optional expiry), revoke / reactivate
License requestsanswer "request a license" messages and mark them handled
Pluginspublish / hide, change prices, import manifests, sync the official plugins bundled with the framework

New license requests also fire contact.created, so a WeCom / DingTalk / Feishu robot or the inquiry e-mail plugin installed on this site notifies you immediately.
